RICHMOND, Va. — Stony Brook tennis earned postseason recognition from the Coastal Athletic Association following the 2026 season, as junior Elena Lobo-Corral and sophomore Paisha Douglas collected All-CAA honors for their standout performances on the court.

Lobo-Corral made program history by becoming the first player in Stony Brook women's tennis history to earn First Team All-CAA Singles honors.

The junior led the Seawolves with an 18-10 singles record, posting a team-best .643 winning percentage while going 7-1 in conference singles play. Lobo-Corral closed the regular season in dominant fashion, winning seven of her final eight singles matches, including six consecutive CAA victories from March 15 through April 5.

She was named CAA Singles Player of the Week on March 31 after securing a pair of commanding straight-set victories at the No. 1 singles position against Hampton and Towson. Lobo-Corral defeated Hampton's Tanya Midzi, 6-1, 6-0, before following with another 6-1, 6-0 win over Towson's Kiersten Tambe. She also added 12 doubles victories during her impressive campaign.

Douglas earned Third Team All-CAA Singles honors in her first season with the Seawolves after transferring from Colorado State.

The sophomore compiled a 14-12 singles record and went 5-2 in CAA singles competition. Douglas made an immediate impact, earning CAA Singles Player of the Week honors on February 10. Douglas became Stony Brook's first conference weekly award winner of the season.

Douglas posted multiple strong stretches throughout the year, including a four-match singles winning streak from February 1-15 against Monmouth, NJIT, UConn, and Drexel. She also won three consecutive conference singles matches against Hampton, Towson, and Hofstra from March 28 through April 5. In doubles play, Douglas added 11 victories.
