QUOTES FROM THE SEAWOLVES
"We are really happy with how everyone competed today, obviously Rob's performance was the highlight of the meet. To handle the pressure of being the top ranked individual in the event entering the meet, along with being the defending champion shows the high quality of an athlete that he has become over the last few years. The guys in the 3000m, Colin and Evan ran very good races, and produced personal best runs while also finishing in scoring spots. The ladies produced another competitive performance in the 4x400 relay final, over the course of the two days I felt the relay squad did a great job. Overall, I feel we competed very well over the two days, and that was reflected in the team standings particularly on the men's side as we finished tied for 5th, best performance to date. Even though the women didn't score as many points I feel the group that we had at the meet competed well and will be better for getting the experience in a championship environment," said head coach Andrew Ronan.
