PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – The Stony Brook women's track and field team came out strong in day one of the Penn Relays at the University of Pennsylvania on Thursday.
Sophomore
Fiona McLoughlin highlighted the day for the Seawolves with a seventh-place overall finish in the 10,000 meter with a final time of 34:15.36.
Sophomore
Nicole Garcia and freshman
Grace Weigele earned top 25 finishes and new personal bests in the 5000 meter.
HIGHLIGHTS
- McLoughlin secured a seventh-place overall finish in the 10000 meter with a final time of 34:15.36.
- Garcia earned a new personal and a 23rd place finish in the 5000 meter with a final time of 16:43.53.
- Weigele crossed the line in 16:46.00 which was good for a 25th place finish and a new personal best in the 5000 meter.
