CINCINNATI — Reilly Rich tallied her third goal of the season and second in as many games with a beautiful far-post, curling effort from just inside the corner of the box but the Cincinnati offense proved too much for the Stony Brook women's soccer team to keep pace with as the Bearcats took home a 5-1 matinee victory on Thursday afternoon.
The Seawolves controlled a lot of the play for the first half of the second 45 minutes, shown by Rich's goal to cut the deficit in half to 2-1.
The hosts countered back in the 73rd minute with a shot over Pasquarella that found the net and Cincinnati would control the rest of the half, putting two late ones on the board that helped them pull away in the end.
