PROVIDENCE, R.I. – Four members of the Stony Brook men's track and field team competed at the Friar Invitational on Friday.
Senior
Shane Henderson and graduate
Robert Becker led the Seawolves with third-place finishes in their respective events. Not only did they both earn podium finishes, but both student-athletes also set new program records.
Henderson set a new record in the 5000 meter with his final time of 13:51.40 while Becker set a new record in the outdoor mile with his final time of 4:01.62.
Junior
Evan Brennan also earned a top 10 finish in the 5000 meter with a final time of 14:15.83. Graduate
Aiden Smyth rounded out the top 20 for the squad in the mile with a final time of 4:11.14.

The Seawolves are back in action tomorrow, April 15, when they compete in day two of the Northeast Challenge in Storrs, Conn
