JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - Three members of the Stony Brook men's track and field team traveled to Jacksonville, Fla. to compete in the NCAA East Preliminaries on May 24-27 at the University of North Florida. 

On the first day, graduate Robert Becker competed in the 1500 meter. Becker placed within the top 40 with a final time of 3:49.36. Senior Evan Brennan rounded out the Wednesday competition for the Seawolves with another top-40 finish in the 10,000 meter. Brennan crossed the line in 30:35.37. 

On Friday, senior Shane Henderson took to the track to compete in the 5000 meter. Henderson clocked in with a final time of 14:30.14 to also secure a top 40 overall finish.
