STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. - The Stony Brook University women's track and field program competed at the Penn 10-Team Select, hosted by Pennsylvania University at Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex. Stony Brook's Fiona McLoughlin, Grace Weigele and Grace Sisson finished 1-2-3, respectively, in the 3,000-meter with ECAC qualifying times.

HIGHLIGHTS

• McLoughlin took first place in the 3,000-meter run, finishing in 9:33.04.
• Weigele (9:36.06) and Sisson (9:44.77) finished second and third in the 3,000-meter.
• McLoughlin, Weigele and Sisson all posted ECAC qualifying times in the 3,000-meter.
• Amelie Guzman ran a five-minute mile, notching a fifth-place finish in the mile.
• Danella Dawkins finished fifth in the 60-meter hurdles with a 8.96 clocking.

"Tonight was about getting the holiday period out of our system and seeing what we need to do in the weeks ahead to be prepared for the championship part of the season," head coach Andy Ronan noted. "Overall, it was a solid night and something to build on."
