EASTON, Pa. - Stony Brook men's soccer dropped a mid-week contest on the road at Lafayette, 4-2, on Tuesday evening. Caleb Danquah and Trevor Harrison tallied goals for the Seawolves in the defeat.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Stony Brook grabbed an early 1-0 lead when
Caleb Danquah recorded his third goal of the season in the first minute. The Leopards then evened the match thanks to Cole Duschang, assisted by Anthony Durling.
Lafayette then broke the 1-1 draw on Nicholas Liebich's ninth-minute goal before grabbing a 3-1 lead with a 21st-minute goal from Andrey Mcintyre, assisted by Eric Axtman.
Stony Brook narrowed the gap on Lafayette to make it a 3-2 game on
Trevor Harrison's goal in the 43rd minute.
The Leopards' advantage increased to 4-2 thanks to a 74th-minute goal from Roy Biegon, assisted by Andrey McIntyre. The score held until the end of the game.
