The Huskies responded to tie it on a goal from Maggie Cochran in the 51st minute. Stony Brook responded to start the second half, going ahead 2-1 on Setteducate's second goal of the match. Aneta Sovakova assisted the goal on a set piece from the corner.

The Huskies knotted things up at 2-2 in the 70th minute on a goal from Lauren Ahles. The Seawolves busted up the 2-2 draw on Kerry Pearson's first goal of the season.

Nicolette Pasquarella made a pair of saves in the final 11 minutes to secure the victory.

QUOTES FROM THE SEAWOLVES
"I'm happy with the result today. We knew today that it was going to be one of those tougher games. Northeastern is a well-coached team, they're a good, physical team. A lot of respect to Northeastern," head coach Tobias Bischof noted postgame. "They gave us a hard game today, but credit to our team. They stepped up and every time something happened, they had an answer for it."
