NORTH HAVEN, Conn. – Stony Brook tennis received three singles victories, but the early doubles point proved to be the difference at Quinnipiac took a 4-3 victory in Connecticut on Saturday.
The Seawolves received victories from sophomore
Kristi Boro, freshman
Cornelia Bruu-Syversen and freshman
Mia Palladino. All three Stony Brook victories came in three sets and four of Saturday's six singles matches took three sets to determine a winner.
Bruu-Syversen finished off a 2-0 weekend in singles, with both of her victories coming in three sets.
