STONY BROOK, N.Y. - Stony Brook men's basketball student-athletes Keenan Fitzmorris and Andre Snoddy earned recognition from the College Sports Communications on the 2023-24 Academic All-District Team.

Fitzmorris appeared in all 35 contests for the Seawolves this season, starting in 11 contests. He finished as the team's third-leading scorer, averaging 10.9 points per game while averaging 24.7 minutes per contest. Fitzmorris shot better than 50 percent from the field during the season and better than 76 percent from the free-throw line. Additionally, Fitzmorris led the team in blocked shots and his 4.4 rebounds per game were third-most on the squad.

Snoddy played in all but one contest for the Seawolves in his first season on Long Island, starting 24 games. He paced the team in rebounds per game (7.2) and logged double-digit rebounds in eight contests this season, the most on the squad. Snoddy also registered double-figure points in four games, including a 17-point, 11-rebound double-double, his first as a Seawolf, against Hofstra.

The 2023-24 Academic All-District® Men's Basketball teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
