Women's Track & Field Performs Well at Colonial Relays

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. — The Stony Brook University women's outdoor track and field team competed at the Colonial Relays this Friday and Saturday. As a team, the Seawolves took home ten top-eight placements.

"The Franks sisters were not to be outdone by their brother George." head coach Andy Ronan noted. "They went 1 & 2 in the 400m, for their best performance of the season so far. Danella also had her best outing over the 100 hurdles this spring, and then we also got quality runs in the 1500m and 5000m from Rebecca, Niamh, and Amelie, respectfully. Like the guys, it was a good few days for the women's squad also."

UP NEXT
Stony Brook will return to action on Friday and Saturday, with the team splitting events at the Northeast Challenge and Friar Invitational.
