WILLIAMSBURG, Va. — The Stony Brook University women's outdoor track and field team competed at the Colonial Relays this Friday and Saturday. As a team, the Seawolves took home ten top-eight placements.

HIGHLIGHTS

• Kyra Franks finished first in the 400-meter. She finished in 55.84.
• Aristea Franks took second in the 400-meter, finishing in 56.01.
• Rebecca Clackett placed fifth in the 1,500-meter with a time of (4:32.76).
• Niamh Durcan finished eighth in the 5,000-meter. She finished at (17:30.82).
• Danella Dawkins placed fourth in the 100-meter hurdles 14.37.
• Dawkins, Franks, Enyero Omokeni, and Jaelyn Davis finished sixth in the 4x100 relay with a time of 47.99.
• Clackett, Jalia Williams, Samantha St. Juste, and Olivia Simonetti placed second in the 1,600-meter sprint medley (4:11.15). 
• Davis, Dawkins, Franks, and Omokeni took second in the 4x200 relay (1:41.50).
• Alexandria Earle finished fifth in the High Jump with a jump of 4'11"
• Gabriela Mensah placed seventh in the Triple Jump 33' 10 ½.

"The Franks sisters were not to be outdone by their brother George." head coach Andy Ronan noted. "They went 1 & 2 in the 400m, for their best performance of the season so far. Danella also had her best outing over the 100 hurdles this spring, and then we also got quality runs in the 1500m and 5000m from Rebecca, Niamh, and Amelie, respectfully. Like the guys, it was a good few days for the women's squad also."
