NEW HAVEN, Conn. – The Stony Brook University men's outdoor track and field continued to impress with another strong performance at the Yale Springtime Classic on Sunday. As a team, the Seawolves recorded nine top-eight finishes, highlighted by a first-place finish in the 5,000-meter by Michael Fama.

HIGHLIGHTS

• Fama placed first in the 5,000-meter race (14:44.23).
• Nick Tardugno placed second in the 5,000-meter (14:53.75)
• David Onovo took fifth in the 200-meter (22.36). He also finished fourth in the 400-meter final (51.83)
• Mahmoud Abdalla finished third in the 800-meter (1:53.22).
• Finn Burke placed third in the 1,500-meter (4:02.56).
• Luca Maneri took third in the 1,500-meter (4:02.70).
• Mason Talarico finished sixth in the 1,500-meter (4:04.23).
• Neel Chittur placed seventh in the 1,500-meter (4:07.94).

UP NEXT
Stony Brook will return to the track on May 10-11 for the CAA Championships in Elon, North Carolina.
