STONY BROOK, N.Y. – The 2025 Stony Brook Lacrosse Golf Classic, held at St. George's Golf & Country Club in Setauket, was an outstanding success, attracting over 150 attendees, including more than 20 men's lacrosse alumni. Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, the event raised more than $70,000, which will directly benefit the Stony Brook men's lacrosse program.
Golfers kicked off the day with a shotgun start, playing a full 18 holes at the beautiful St. George's Golf & Country Club. The day was filled with camaraderie and support for the Stony Brook men's lacrosse program, culminating in an incredible fundraising effort. The event wrapped up in the evening with a dinner and an awards presentation honoring the best foursome, closest to the pin, longest drive, and 'Beat the Seawolf' contests.
With this remarkable support, the Seawolves can continue to enhance the experiences of their student-athletes while fostering a strong community spirit on Long Island.
