STONY BROOK, N.Y. - Stony Brook Athletics is excited to announce the return of its
highly anticipated 2026 golf outings. These events bring together alumni, supporters, and the Seawolves community for a day of golf, camaraderie, and philanthropy, while supporting student-athletes across Stony Brook University.
The 2026 outings are scheduled as follows:
- Stony Brook Athletics Golf Classic – Monday, July 20
- Men's Lacrosse Golf Classic – Monday, October 5
- Women's Lacrosse Golf Classic – Date TBA
The
Athletics and Men's Lacrosse Golf Classics will take place at the scenic
St. George's Golf & Country Club in East Setauket, N.Y., and the
Women's Lacrosse Golf Classic will be hosted at
Willow Creek Golf & Country Club in Mount Sinai, N.Y.
Each outing will include an
18-hole round of golf, a
complimentary golfer gift, and
exciting on-course experiences.
Supporting Student-Athletes:
Proceeds from the Athletics Golf Classic will benefit
Seawolves United, as well as the
Deputy Chief Raymond M. Downey Scholarship and the
Charles Gordon Heuser Scholarship. Funds raised during the Lacrosse Golf Classics will support the Stony Brook men's and women's lacrosse programs. Participation in these outings directly contributes to enhancing the
student-athlete experience, helping Seawolves thrive both on and off the field.
