STONY BROOK, N.Y. - Long Island Business News has selected Andrea Lebedinski, Director of Lifelong and Athletics Engagement as a recipient of a 2026 Top 50 Women in Business Award.

Launched in 2000, the Top 50 Women in Business awards recognize Long Island's top women professionals for their business acumen, mentoring and community involvement. The program's honorees are selected by a judging committee and represent the most influential women in business, government and the nonprofit fields.

"The 2026 Top 50 Women in Business are trailblazers who demonstrate extraordinary leadership. These women elevate, educate, mentor, support and empower other women and work to make Long Island a wonderful place to live and work," said Suzanne Fischer-Huettner, managing director of BridgeTower Media/Long Island Business News. "We are also pleased to honor this year's Circle of Excellence recipients who have had an incredible impact on the community and beyond. These women have shattered glass ceilings, redefined possibilities and selflessly mentor the next generation. Long Island Business News is pleased to celebrate this year's Top 50 Women in Business honorees."

The honorees will be recognized at an event on Thursday, October 15, at Crest Hollow Country Club, 8325 Jericho Turnpike in Woodbury. An exclusive winner networking reception begins at 5 pm followed by a general networking reception at 5:30 pm and dinner and the awards celebration at 6:30 pm.
