RICHMOND, Va. — Stony Brook's Jamie Orson was named the CAA Men's Soccer Co-Defender of the Year, earning a spot on the All-CAA First Team as well. Orson was joined by three teammates that also received all-conference nods: Finlay Oliver (First Team), Caleb Danquah (Third Team) and Ryan Farr (All-Rookie).

Orson becomes Stony Brook's first-ever field player to receive a CAA Major Award, sharing Defender of the Year honors with UNC Wilmington's Jake Shannon. Orson, a graduate transfer from Yale, played in all 16 regular season matches, making 15 starts. He logged a full 90 minutes in all but one match, playing an integral role in Stony Brook's six clean sheets. Offensively, Orson contributed four goals, including the game-winner over Northeastern to clinch a CAA postseason berth, and one assist.

Oliver garnered All-CAA distinction for the first time in his career, securing a spot on the first team. Oliver paced the Seawolves' offense with a seven-goal, 18-point regular season, finishing third in the conference in both categories. Oliver posted a pair of multi-goal performances, including a brace in a road victory over Drexel at the end of October.

Danquah played in all 16 matches for Stony Brook, drawing a start in 11 fixtures. The Brooklyn native netted four goals during the regular season, adding three assists. His four goals and 11 points were tied for second-most on the team.

Farr continues to build on an impressive first season on Long Island, earning All-Rookie distinction following a four-goal, two-assist regular season. A two-time CAA Rookie of the Week honoree, Farr netted two of his four goals during conference play, including the game-winner off the bench in a home victory over Monmouth.

Stony Brook begins CAA postseason play on Thursday, November 6, hosting No. 3 Monmouth in the North Division Quarterfinal at LaValle Stadium. First touch is scheduled for 6 pm and the match will stream live on FloCollege.
