RICHMOND, Va. — Stony Brook men's lacrosse goalie Jamison MacLachlan has been named the CAA Defensive Player of the Week, as announced by the conference office on Monday afternoon.

MacLachlan made 13 saves in Stony Brook's 9-8 road win over No. 19/20 Rutgers. He made six second-half saves and conceded just two goals over the final 30 minutes of action.

Stony Brook picked up its seventh win over Rutgers and its first victory over a ranked opponent since 2021 when it took down No. 19 UAlbany.

The Seawolves return to action on the road against No. 16 North Carolina on Friday, February 14 at 6:00 p.m. in Chapel Hill.
