RICHMOND, Va. — Stony Brook's Kyan East was voted the CAA Co-Rookie of the Year, while eight Seawolves garnered All-CAA distinction.

East becomes Stony Brook's first-ever major award winner as a member of the CAA. As a freshman, East played an integral role in Stony Brook's defense that ranks third in the conference and 27th nationally in scoring defense. Statistically, East scooped up 32 ground balls, the second-most on the squad, averaging 2.67 ground balls per game, the 10th best mark in the league. A one-time CAA Rookie of the Week honoree, East now adds Co-Rookie of the Year, All-CAA Second Team and CAA All-Rookie honors to his ledger.

Kian McCoy stands as Stony Brook's lone representative on the All-CAA First Team, a year removed from receiving All-CAA Second Team and CAA All-Rookie honors. McCoy finished third on the team with 36 total points across 13 games, leading the team with 20 assists. The Long Islander's 20 assists were tied for second most in the league, behind the back-to-back CAA Player of the Year Mikey Weisshaar, and his 1.58 assists per game are 35th best in the nation. Earlier this season, McCoy picked up CAA Offensive Player of the Week and USILA Team of the Week honors after racking up a career-high eight points in a road win at Fairfield. McCoy's eight points and five assists are the most by an individual in a CAA conference game this season.

Stony Brook's scoring leader, Collin Williamson, garnered All-CAA Second Team honors after amassing 32 goals and 47 points, both of which are team-best marks. A force on Stony Brook's man-up unit that is the 11th most efficient unit in the country, Williamson converted six times individually on man-up chances, the second-best total in the CAA and the ninth-best mark in all of Division I. His 32 goals are tied for seventh-most in the CAA and his 47 points rank sixth-best in the conference.

Justin Bonacci finished the regular season with 40 points, netting a career-high 25 goals and adding 15 assists across 13 contests, earning All-CAA Second Team recognition. Bonacci eclipsed 100 career points in the final regular season contest, extending his point streak to 23 straight games. He produced 10 multi-point performances this season, putting together seven multi-goal efforts and registering four hat tricks.

Caleb Yeung also appeared on the All-CAA Second Team, producing 25 points on 12 goals and 13 assists while starting every game in the midfield this season. All three of Yeung's scoring marks ranked fourth on the team for the Seawolves. A CAA All-Rookie selection in 2025, Yeung followed up that performance by registering a point in all but two games and put together nine multi-point performances, including four straight to end the regular season.

Ryan Dodge also played an integral role in Stony Brook's defense that ranks third in the conference and 27th nationally in scoring defense. The All-CAA Second Team honoree keyed in on the opposition's best talent offensively, doing work that doesn't show up on stat sheets. He played in and started all 13 games, totaling 12 ground balls and five caused turnovers.

A 2024 CAA All-Rookie selection, Tommy Wilk picked up All-CAA Second Team distinction after a strong season in net for the Seawolves. Wilk's 152 saves and .530 save percentage are the second-best marks in the conference, while his 11.11 goals-against average is the fourth-best mark in the league. Wilk was a three-time CAA Defensive Player of the Week honoree during the regular season, racking up double-digit saves in all but three contests this season and holding six opponents to single-digit goal totals.

Jack Cavalieri, a one-time CAA Rookie of the Week selection, was selected to the CAA All-Rookie team. Eventually working his way into Stony Brook's starting lineup, Cavalieri tallied 14 points in eight appearances, scoring nine goals. He registered a point in all eight contests and registered hat tricks in back-to-back wins over Marist and Fairfield.

Stony Brook sets its sights on a rematch with Drexel in the CAA Semifinal on Thursday, April 30. Stony Brook, the No. 3 seed, will meet the No. 2 seeded Dragons in Towson, Maryland, with the opening face-off set for 7 pm on FloCollege.
