LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) announced All-Region selections on Thursday afternoon. Stony Brook's
Alyssa Costello was named to the Northeast Region First Team.
Costello played in and started all 50 games in 2025, hitting .419 and posting team-high marks in on-base percentage (.497), slugging percentage (.685), bases on balls (23) doubles (14), home runs (7) and runs batted in (36). Costello currently ranks top-five in the CAA in hits, doubles, batting average, on-base percentage, slugging percentage and OPS. She tallied multiple hits in 21 games and ended the season by hitting safely in 23 of the final 24 contests and reaching safely in 25 of the final 26 games. Costello earned All-CAA First Team honors in 2025, signifying the fourth time in her career that she earned all-conference recognition. The All-Region honor is the second of her career.
