RICHMOND, Va. – The Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) revealed its 2025-26 women's basketball conference opponents for the league schedule on Tuesday, as the Seawolves are set to play in 18 games with nine home matchups and nine road trips.
Head coach
Joy McCorvey, in her second season, will lead the Stony Brook squad in a conference schedule consisting of six repeat (home-and-away) opponents, three home-only opponents, and three away-only opponents. Two of the six repeat opponents have been designated as "permanent opponents" to preserve regional rivalries and geographic ties.
The Seawolves will compete in their six-repeat home-and-away games against Drexel, Hampton, Monmouth, and Towson. Hofstra and Northeastern have been designated as Stony Brook's permanent opponents. The team stays on the Island to match up against Elon, North Carolina A&T, and UNC Wilmington before hitting the road to take on Campbell, Charleston, and William & Mary.
Conference games will primarily be slated for a Friday/Sunday schedule. Dates and times for the full schedule will be released at a later date.
