  • Coming out of the the halfway mark in the first, Stony Brook maintained a 19-10 lead as newcomers Leonardo Van Elswyk and Bryan Ndjonga picked up their first points as Seawolves, the latter knocking down the first triple of the night at 9:47. Özgür Cengiz would knock down the team's second three at 8:28 to extend the lead to 10 points.
  • Inside of five minutes to play, Jaden Daughtry made his presence known with a second-chance layup followed 20 seconds later with a steal and a slam to make it 33-15. He would make another bucket at 3:18 to kick off a 9-0 scoring run to end the half, including a strip and a dunk from Ugusuk and an alley-oop to Ndjonga.
  • Carrying a 42-18 lead into the second half, the Seawolves turned their 9-0 run into a 16-0 tear with another seven unanswered, including Ndjonga's second dunk of the night. After the run ended, Ndjonga and Cengiz knocked down back-to-back threes to make it 55-20 with 15 to play.
  • Van Elswyk would add another nine points to his total over the next eight minutes as the lead expanded to 77-36.
