RICHMOND, Va. — Stony Brook's Mirabella Altebrando (Rookie) and Hailey Huebner (Defensive) earned CAA Women's Lacrosse weekly honors. Huebner's Defensive Player of the Week nod is her fourth consecutive, while it marks the second of the season for Altebrando.

Huebner continued her defensive dominance, causing seven turnovers in a 2-0 week for Stony Brook. The sophomore compiled four of her seven caused turnovers in a 12-7 road win at Drexel. She added nine ground balls across the two games, including a team-best six ground balls and a trio of caused turnovers in the win at Villanova. Huebner was crucial in helping the Seawolves allow just 8.5 goals per game last week.

Altebrando amassed 14 points on two goals and 12 assists in the two-win week for Stony Brook. The Long Island native put together an eight-point performance in a road win at Villanova to start the week, handing out six assists and adding a pair of goals. Altebrando followed that up with six helpers in a 12-7 victory at Drexel to help Stony Brook remain perfect in conference play as a member of the CAA.

The Seawolves return to action on Sunday, March 29, hosting Campbell at 11 am at LaValle Stadium. The contest will stream live on FloCollege.
