Swimming & Diving Quartet Earns CSC Academic All-District Honors

STONY BROOK, N.Y. – Michelle Vu, Alanna DePinto, Sara Baxter, and Brenna Mowrey of Stony Brook's swimming and diving team were named to the 2025–26 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team, as announced by the organization on Tuesday afternoon.

The quartet earned CSC Academic All-District honors by achieving at least a 3.5 cumulative GPA while competing in a minimum of five meets during the athletic season.
All selected student-athletes are also eligible for consideration for the CSC Women's Swimming & Diving Academic All-America Team, which will be released on Tuesday, April 28.

The 2025–26 Academic All-District® Women's Swimming & Diving Teams are selected by College Sports Communicators, recognizing the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the pool and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees across four divisions that includes NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III, and NAIA.

Vu is a biology major, while DePinto is a double major in applied mathematics and statistics and business management. Mowrey studies marine vertebrate biology, and Baxter is a civil engineering major.
