STONY BROOK, N.Y. - Stony Brook Athletics has officially announced the promotions for the 2026 football season. This season, the Seawolves are slated to host five games at Kenneth P. Lavalle Stadium, with the home-opener set for Thursday, September 3rd, versus Lindenwood. Season tickets are on sale now, with single-game tickets to be released in July.

This year's schedule features a mix of new and returning promotions, designed to give fans of all ages an unforgettable experience.

Thursday, September 3rd vs Lindenwood - Student Palooza
Football is back at LaValle for the first time in 2026. Join the Seawolves under the lights for the home-opener versus the Lindenwood Lions as we welcome the Stony Brook community back to campus with exciting giveaways, performances, and more!

Saturday, September 13th vs URI - Kids Day
Head out to LaValle for a day of non-stop fun, featuring a rock climbing wall, video game truck, face painter, and more! 

Saturday, October 17th vs UAlbany - Homecoming | Battle for the Golden Apple
Past, present, and future Seawolves make their way to campus for the annual Homecoming game. Show your Stony Brook pride and wear red against the Great Danes! More information on Homecoming can be found here.

For the 28th time in program history, Stony Brook and UAlbany will face off in the Battle for the Golden Apple. The Seawolves will look for their third straight victory in the storied matchup.

Saturday, October 31st vs Sacred Heart - Halloween at LaValle
Kick-off your Halloween with the Seawolves. Be part of the festivities including trick-or-treating stations, pumpkin carving/decorating and more!

Fans who arrive in costume will receive free admission to the game. More information on costume policies will be provided at a later date. 

Saturday, November 21st vs Hampton - Senior Day
Join us as we celebrate the senior class with a special on-field ceremony that will take place prior to kickoff.
