The Stony Brook men's basketball team will take on the Harlem Globetrotters on Monday, November 12 at the Stony Brook Sports Complex. The Seawolves are one of nine college teams that the Globetrotters will face on their college tour this fall. Tip-off is 3:00 p.m.
The Stony Brook-Harlem Globetrotters matchup will be the Seawolves only exhibiton game before opening up the regular season at St. John's on November 17. St. John's faces the Globetrotters on Novemeber 10.
Overall, the Globetrotters have won 20,642 games with just 333 losses, and a 154-66 record in games versus college all-star competition. In 1948 and '49, the Globetrotters beat the world champion Minneapolis Lakers twice. The Globetrotter's current win streak stands at 284 consecutive games without a loss.
