Men's Basketball Assistant Coach Hipsher Recognized as 2026 Silver Waves Media Elite 75

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Stony Brook men's basketball associate head coach Andy Hipsher was recognized by Silver Waves Media on Wednesday with an invitation to the fourth annual Elite 75 Power Lunch which honors the top 75 assistant basketball coaches in the NCAA. The lunch is held in conjunction with the NCAA Men's Final Four at IU Indianapolis.

The Elite 75 recognizes the top assistant coaches nationwide who set themselves apart as the up and coming future head coach candidates. Over the past two years, more than a dozen members of the Elite 75 have gone on to receive head coaching positions.

Coach Hipsher recently concluded his first season with the Seawolves, helping the team increase its year over year win total from eight to 17 and producing a pair of CAA postseason award winners in Erik Pratt and Andrej Shoshkikj.
