LOUDONVILLE, N.Y. (AP) - Rod Williams and quarterback Scott Bard each ran
for a touchdown as Stony Brook beat Siena 14-0 on Saturday.
A steady rain and messy field helped both defenses, and the game was
scoreless at the half. Siena (2-5) limited Stony Brook to 122 passing yards and
163 rushing. Linebacker Dan Smacchia had 16 tackles including a sack.
The Seawolves (5-2) held Siena to 69 yards passing and 155 on the ground.
Linebacker Aden Smith had 17 tackles.
In the third quarter, Stony Brook drove 92 yards in 11 plays and scored at
6:13. Bard hit running back Williams on a 49-yard pass play, followed by
Williams' 1-yard touchdown run.
Bard rushed four yards for a touchdown early in the fourth quarter, the
Seawolves covering 51 yards in five plays.
