After shooting only 31 percent in the first half, the Mountain Hawks found their offensive rhythm behind Logie who scored 16 of his game-high 20 points over the final 20 minutes. Trailing 27-23 in the second half, Lehigh went on a 7-2 run capped by a Savovic layup to take a 30-29 lead. Lehigh would never trail again.

The Mountain Hawks built the lead to 11 at 48-37 with 4:29 to go before SB closed the gap. Stony Brook mounted a late rally and a Cori Spencer layup with 1:19 remaining sliced Lehigh's lead to 51-48. After a turnover, Hendrik Feist's three-point attempt was off the mark and the Seawolves would get no closer the rest of the way.

Spencer finished with his first career double-double, totaling 18 points and 12 rebounds. Stony Brook was undone by 22 turnovers and 33 percent shooting. The Seawolves shot only 2-for-10 from three-point range.
