ONEONTA, N.Y. - Senior attacker Kevin Pall scored a game-high four goals,
leading Stony Brook (4-3, 2-1 AE) to a 20-3 win over Binghamton (0-4, 0-1
AE) in an America East Conference men's lacrosse game today. The game,
which was originally scheduled to be played at Binghamton, was moved to
Oneonta's turf field because the inclimate weather made the Bearcats' grass
surface unplayable.
Pall scored two of his four goals in the first quarter as Stony Brook went
on an early 7-0 run in a span of 11:07 to blow the game open. Senior
midfielder Kevin Shea added three goals for the Seawolves while senior
midfielder Denis Scannell, sophomore attacker George LaFlare and freshman
midfielder Greg Rossi each had two-goal games. Freshman midfielder James
Lacey had a game-high four assists.
Binghamton got a team-high two goals from junior midfielder Craig Reynolds
and another goal from sophomore midfielder
Mark Frederick. In goal, freshman Toby Scalone recorded 14 saves.
