Stony Brook, N.Y. - The Stony Brook men's cross country team received 2001 All-Academic Team honors from the United States Cross Country Coaches Association.

The Seawolves, one of 62 teams nationwide to receive the honor, recorded a cumulative GPA of 3.065 to garner the award.

The team consists of Jonathan Brims, William Cotter, Dave deWolfe, Andrew Gabrell, Gavin Griffith, Preston Smolinski, Jason Strom, Dale Summerville and Michael Thompson,
