Stony Brook, N.Y. - Stony Brook freshman pitcher Angela Andrews was named the Seawolf of the week on Monday, March 24 for her outstanding performance over the weekend. Andrews picked up two of Stony Brook's three wins at the Patriot Classic last weekend, firing a shutout and a one-hitter.

In a 1-0 win over St. Francis (NY), Andrews gave up just two hits with two walks and four strikeouts in seven innings. She was equally impressive the next day against Iona in a 2-1 victory. She allowed just one hit, with one walk and six strikeouts.
