Stony Brook, N.Y. - Stony Brook freshman attackman Jason Cappadoro (Levittown, N.Y./MacArthur HS) was named America East Men's Lacrosse Co-Rookie of the Week, the conference announced Monday. It is the second time this season that Cappadoro has earned rookie of the week honors.

Cappadoro recorded all four of his points in the decisive fourth quarter of the Seawolves' 6-4 win at Vermont. He scored the game-winning goal and assisted on three others to post his eighth multiple-point game of the season. The win earned SBU a berth in the America East playoffs.

Stony Brook (4-8) is back in action on Wednesday night when it hosts North Carolina. Face-off is 7 p.m.
