The Stony Brook Seawolves open up America East play on Tuesday night when they host Northeastern at the Indoor Sports Complex. The Seawolves (4-3) are coming off a 80-78 overtime win over Navy and look to knock off NU for the first time since the 2002-03 season. Tip-off is 7 p.m.

Radio: The game will be carried live on WUSB 90.1 and on the internet at www.goseawolves.org.

Last Time Out: Stony Brook rallied from a five-point deficit in overtime to score the final seven points of the game and come away with a 80-78 overtime win at Navy. Freshman Antwan Hardy led all Seawolves scorers with 19 points in his first collegiate start. He was one of five Seawolves in double figures as Cori Spencer (16), Bobby Santiago (12), JonPaul Kobryn (12) and Mike Popoko (10) also reached double figures.

Versus Northeastern: The all-time series is tied 3-3. NU swept the series last year and SB won both games in 2002-03.

Hardy Named Rookie Of The Week: Antwan Hardy made the most of his first collegiate start on Saturday, scoring a team-high 19 points, including the go-ahead foul shots with 14 seconds remaining in overtime to lift SB to a 80-78 win over Navy. He also scored 10 points and grabbed five boards against Rhode Island on Wednesday. His efforts earned him America East Rookie of the Week honors.

A Team Effort: With the loss of Mitchell Beauford and his 17 points per game, the Seawolves leaned on each other to spread the wealth on offense. Five Seawolves scored in double figures - Antwan Hardy (19), Cori Spencer (16), Bobby Santiago (12), JonPaul Kobryn (12) and Mike Popoko (10). It was the first time that five Seawolves have scored in double figures since January 28, 2003, against Centenary College and the first time that has happened versus a Division I opponent.

Hitting The Boards: Stony Brook was dominant on the glass against Navy, outrebounding the Midshipmen 60-44, 22 of them coming on the offensive end. Jairus McCollum led the way for SB with a game-high 11 rebounds. Five Seawolves had at least nine rebounds in the game.

"D"-Lightful: Stony Brook has improved with each game on the defensive end. The Seawolves are now holding opponents to 42 percent shooting after stifling Navy shooters to the tune of 33.8 percent. The Seawolves enter conference play the third ranked defense in the America East, allowing opponents 64.5 points per game.
