Storrs, Conn. - The Stony Brook University women's volleyball team (2-3) was swept by the University of Connecticut (4-3), 3-0, to pick up its fourth-straight win and as the Huskies captured the Connecticut Invitational on Saturday at Gampel Pavilion.

Connecticut downed the Seawolves by the scores of 30-20, 30-18 and 33-31. Freshman Morgan Sweany led Stony Brook with 12 kills and also tallied nine digs, while Maria Samilo and Sarah Bauer, chipped in with 11 and 10 kills, respectively. Samilo added three block solos and two block assists, and frehsman Kate Ruskowski registered 20 assists and 10 digs. Abby Egan amassed 30 digs and represented the Seawolves on the Connecticut Invitational all-tournament squad after digging 74 balls in three matches.

The Seawolves are back in action on Wednesday when they travel to the Bronx to take on Fordham at 7 p.m.
