Wagner Upends Stony Brook 67-54

NEW YORK (AP) - Durell Vinson had 19 points and 12 rebounds to lead Wagner to a 67-54 victory over winless Stony Brook on Friday night.

Mark Porter added 11 points and DeEarnest McLemore had for the Seahawks (7-2), who were coming off a two-point loss at No. 11 UCLA.

Tre Cunningham had 14 points for the Seawolves (0-9), while Mitchel Beauford had 13 and Bobby Santiago 12, all on 3-pointers.

Wagner's James Ulrich scored the first two baskets of game as the Seahawks took an 11-5 lead. Cunningham had five points in a 12-6 run that brought Stony Brook within 26-23 with 2:51 left.

The Seahawks closed the first half with eight straight points, the last two free throws by McLemore that made it 31-23.

Consecutive baskets by Vinson gave the Seahawks their biggest lead, 45-31.
