Men's Hoops Travels To Hartford Saturday

The Stony Brook men's basketball team travels to Hartford for an America East matchup on Saturday afternoon. The Seawolves (8-14, 3-10) have never won at Chase Family Arena in three tries but have won the last two meetings with the Hawks. Tip-off is 1 p.m.

Last Time Out: Stony Brook struggled to score once again and fell behind 35-18 after 20 minutes of play. The Seawolves could get no closer than 14 the rest of the way and lost for the ninth straight time to Vermont. Cori Spencer led all Seawolves with 15 points and seven rebounds while Antwan Hardy finished with 13.

Versus Hartford: Hartford owns a 6-2 series edge but Stony Brook has won the last two meetings.

Last Time We Met: Stony Brook earned a 67-54 win over Hartford at the Indoor Sports Complex earlier this season. The Seawolves used a balanced attack with four players finishing in double figures led by Hardy (15). Mike Popoko (12), Bobby Santiago (11) and Jairus McCollum also finished in double digits. Popoko and McCollum each finished with eight rebounds.

Hardy Regains Form After going a couple of games without reaching double figures, Antwan Hardy scored 13 points in the loss to Vermont. It was the 14th game this season that he has reached double digits. Hardy leads the team in scoring at 11.5 points per ga
