On Saturday, October 7, Stony Brook University will host its annual homecoming celebration "Wolfstock 2006". This annual event will surround the Stony Brook football game versus Albany with kick-off scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Stony Brook is expecting a record turnout from alumni and friends for the Wolfstock festivies and the homecoming game. For the first time the Athletics Department will also host an Athletics Alumni Reunion tent to welcome back former student-athletes to campus.
The Reunion Tent, which will be located in the Wolfstock Village near the track, is designed to reunite all former Stony Brook student-athletes in one place to connect and reminisce. There will be plenty of food, beverages and gifts at the Reunion Tent to celebrate homecoming as the Seawolves gear up for the Albany vs. Stony Brook football game at 2:00 p.m. at Kenneth P. LaValle Stadium.
Here are the details for the day:
Cost: $30 adults, $10 children (children 5 and under are free)
• Attendees will receive access to the Athletics Alumni Tent with food and beverages before the game, access to all of the Wolfstock festivities which includes the Kids Zone, Food Pavilion, Beer Garden, and BBQ - as well as a ticket to the football game.
Time: 11:00 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. (Athletics Reunion Tent)
2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. (Albany vs. 2005 NEC Champion Stony Brook)
5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. (post-game BBQ, Beverages, Music, Fireworks)
Football: Albany vs. Stony Brook - 2 p.m. Kick-off
