Stony Brook, N.Y. - Samantha Posey collects Stony Brook Athlete of the Week honors after belting three homeruns and driving in nine runs for the softball team this week.

Posey batted .417 on the week with three homeruns and nine RBI. The junior led the team, slugging 1.250 and posted an on-base percentage of .533. In the series against Binghamton, Posey homered twice and drove in seven runs as the Seawolves won the series at Binghamton, 2-1.
