Stony Brook, N.Y. - The Stony Brook University women's lacrosse team used a potent offense and some great goaltending to power past Boston Univeristy, 16-13, at Kenneth P. LaValle Stadium. The Seawolves have now won six in a row and stand a 9-1, 2-0 in America East play while the Terriers fall to 4-5, 1-1. The Terriers would net a pair of goals from Sarah Dalton and Molly Collins to grab a 2-1 lead before Taylor found Carlee Buck in front of the cage to tie the game at two. Jenna Celano netted her two goals of the game in the run for SB. The Terriers would get as close as 13-11 after a Dalton goal but Buck would lead the Seawolves to victory with a goal and an assist down the stretch.
