On its final day of action on a spring break trip to Florida, the Stony Brook women's tennis team ended its three days of play on a high note, defeating Coastal Carolina by a score of 4-2. Senior Victoria Vovsha (Forest Hills, N.Y.) and junior Erica Federgreen (Scottsdale, Ariz.) each picked up wins in singles and doubles action to help the Seawolves attain the victory.
For the second time on the trip Stony Brook came up with the doubles point, taking two of the three matches. The duo of Federgreen and sophomore Claudia Sanua (Bryanstron, South Africa) won their match at No. 1 with an 8-5 victory while the team of Vovsha and freshman Fanny Charliquart (Gueugnon, France) took the No. 3 match by an 8-4 score.
