Princeton, N.J. - The Stony Brook men's cross country competed in the Princeton Invitational on Saturday morning. Junior Tim Hodge (Tawa, New Zealand) was the top finisher for the Seawolves, as he crossed in 10th place. The men's team finished 6th out of 13 teams.
Hodge ran the 8K course in 25:18.70. Also placing in the top-20 were senior Alex Felce (Stroud, England) and senior Daire Bermingham (Portmarnock, Ireland), who finished 14th and 17th, overall, with times of 25:24.90 and 25:27.80, respectively.
Sophomores Gerard Harley (Setauket, N.Y.) and Drew Dillingham (Riverhead, N.Y.) and senior Kurt Wende (Williamsville, N.Y.) also placed in the top-100.
The men's and women's team are back in action on Wednesday afternoon when they compete against Manhattan and Iona at Van Cortlandt Park at 4:15 pm.
