Stony Brook, N.Y. - Stony Brook University's men's and women's cross country teams were named Division I USTFCCCA All-Academic Teams, according to a release from the association on Thursday. The women's team compiled a team GPA of 3.360 while the men's team posted a 3.010.

For a team to be considered for the USTFCCCA All-Academic Team award, they must have competed and compiled a team score at an NCAA Regional Meet. The team must also have a minimum 3.00 team cumulative grade point average. Over 45% of all Division I institutions who sponsor women's cross country and 35% of institutions who sponsor men's received the honor.
