In its final non-conference game of the season, Stony Brook travels to face Lafayette on Saturday afternoon. Fans can listen to the game live on WUSB 90.1, with Mike Solano (pbp), Curt Hylton (color) and Jeff Bernstein (sidelines) providing all the action. MASN will show the game on tape delay on October 20 at 9 am.
Series
This will be the first meeting between Lafayette and Stony Brook. The Seawolves are 4-5 against schools from the Patriot League, but are 3-1 since 2007.
Opponent
Lafayette (0-5, 0-1) lost to Columbia, 42-28, on October 9. Quarterback Ryan O'Neil has thrown for 1,139 yards and six touchdowns. Jerome Rudolph has two of the Leopards' three rushing touchdowns. Davis Rodriguez is one of the top scorers in the nation with 35 points. He has 11 extra points and eight field goals. The Leopards are 0-2 against Liberty and 0-1 against VMI. Lafayette features three players from Long Island.
