Stony Brook, N.Y. - After winning the Notre Dame Invitational, senior Lucy van Dalen (Wanganui, New Zealand) has been named the SimplexGrinnell Stony Brook Athlete of the Week. Van Dalen finished ahead of runners from national powers like Villanova, Princeton, Florida State and UTEP. The women's team is ranked 12th in this week's USTFCCCA national coaches' poll.
