Looking to go 4-0 in the Big South Conference for the second straight season, the Stony Brook football team travels to face Presbyterian on Saturday afternoon. The game will be televised live on SportsSouth, with Fred Cunningham and Ralph Patterson on the call. Opponent
Presbyterian (1-7, 1-3) took Liberty to the fourth quarter before falling to the Flames, 34-24, last week. The Blue Hose defeated Gardner-Webb, 26-24, for their first win in 20 games on Oct. 23. Myron Gary has three of team's nine rushing touchdowns. Gary, who has also seen time at quarterback, has two touchdowns in the air. Brandon Miley has taken the majority of the snaps this season, and has thrown for 509 yards and four touchdowns. Michael Ruff has three touchdowns to lead all receivers. Derek Brown leads the defense, which has 15 sacks, with 63 tackles.

Stony Brook won the only previous meeting, 52-14. Junior Michael Coulter (Yorba Linda, Calif.) threw for a collegiate-high 321 yards and two touchdowns. Sophomore Jordan Gush (Richardson, Texas) caught five passes for 72 yards. Sophomore Wesley Skiffington (Brandon, Fla.) connected on four field goals and four extra points.
