Stony Brook, N.Y. - Sophomore Suzanne Karath (Fishkill, N.Y.) hit .571 (8-for-14) to lead the Stony Brook University softball team to a 5-0 record this week and earn the SimplexGrinnell Stony Brook Athlete of the Week award. Karath had four multi-hit games, drove in four RBI, scored five runs and went 4-for-4 in stolen base attempts. The Seawolves' starting rightfielder either scored or drove in a run in each of the five games last week.
