For a second straight week, senior Brock Jackolski (Shirley, N.Y.) has been named Big South Special Teams Player of the Week. Jackolski scored his third touchdown of the game on a 90-yard kick return in the second half.
Jackolski, who became the third player in Big South history with two kickoff return touchdowns of 90 yards or longer, also rushed for two touchdowns in Stony Brook's 55-6 win over St. Anselm.
Jackolski also eclipsed 3,000 all-purpose yards as a Seawolf on Saturday. He enters this week's game at VMI ranked third in FCS in all-purpose running (193.5 per game) and fourth in kickoff returns (31.88). Including two years at Hofstra, Jackolski has amassed 5,114 yards in 37 games (138.2).
