Stony Brook's cross country teams competed in the Leeber Invitational hosted by Fairfield University on Saturday morning. Freshman Tyler Frigge (Suffern, N.Y.) was the top finisher for the men's team, running a 27:54. Sophomore Robin Lynn (Glen Gardner, N.J.) paced the women's team with a 20:17.87.

Sophomore James Snak (Smithtown, N.Y.) finished 29th with a time of 28:17. Freshman Matt Zampariello (East Patchogue, N.Y.) also placed in the top 50 (28:48).

On the women's side, senior Jillian Fauser (Northport, N.Y.) took 36th (20:38.49) and freshman Kate Pouder (Miller Place, N.Y.) placed 41st (20:58.10).
