STONY BROOK, N.Y. - After spending the last two games on the road and having last weekend off, the Stony Brook football team returns to Kenneth P. LaValle Stadium to host Towson in a CAA Football game at 6 p.m. on Saturday. The Seawolves (2-2, 1-2 CAA) welcome the Tigers (2-3, 0-2 CAA) for Homecoming.

Last Time Out
Despite a pair of rushing touchdowns from QB Joe Carbone, Stony Brook fell to fifth-ranked James Madison 38-20 at Bridgeforth Stadium. Carbone finished the game with 132 yards passing and 41 yards rushing to go with the the two scores for the Seawolves. WR Steve Mario also scored his first career touchdown on a 18-yard pass from QB Conor Bednarski. The Dukes (5-0, 2-0 CAA) who gained 392 yards in the first half, were held to just 137 yards by the Stony Brook defense in the final two quarters. DB Tyrice Beverette led the Seawolves defense with a career-best 14 tackles and a forced fumble.
Opponent
Towson (2-3, 1-2 CAA) will be looking to the team's first road win of the season on Saturday. The Tigers dropped road games at East Carolina and Elon earlier in the year. Towson is led by quarterback Connor Frazier (951 yards and six TD passing, 249 yards and two TD rushing) and running back Darius Victor (500 yards and seven TD rushing).
The Series
This will be the second meeting between the two CAA Football foes. The schools have each claimed a road win in the previous meetings. Towson opened the series with a 35-21 win in LaValle Stadium, while the Seawolves earneda 14-3 victory in Towson last season.

Seawolves Town, Stony Brook's official tailgating area, is open from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. and will feature inflatables, face painter, carnival booths, 9 hole mini golf course, food trucks, and music from 94.3 FM The Shark. Homecoming
Stony Brook hosts its annual Homecoming game this week. The festivities include the Seawolves Showcase on Friday at 7:30 p.m. on the steps of the Staller Center. On Saturday check out Wolfstock where you can roll up your sleeves for a down-home barbecue, buffet, music, and carnival games before heading into the stadium to cheer on your Seawolves to victory. Other Athletic Department Homecoming events include several sports' alumni games. The Seawolves women's lacrosse program will hold an alumni game on Friday at 8 p.m. on the field inside the track. On Saturday morning, baseball, softball and men's lacrosse each will hold an alumni game. Softball will hold it's game at 11 a.m. at University Field, men's lacrosse's game will also be at 11 a.m. and take place on the field inside the track, while baseball's will be held at Joe Nathan Field at noon.

Stony Brook School of Journalism will broadcast live from LaValle Stadium with a countdown to the homecoming football game. The live broadcast of this Stony Brook tradition will air on http://www.sbujdrive.com/ starting at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. Live interviews with special guests, Stony Brook sports talk and pre-recorded stories about Stony Brook Athletics will be featured on the show. This can be viewed on a computer, tablet or smartphone.
Seawolves Radio Network
Stony Brook Athletics begins a dynamic three-year agreement with Connoisseur Media Long Island, Long Island's premier media cluster, to broadcast Seawolves' football games beginning in the fall of 2015. Over the next three seasons, 94.3 The Shark will air all regular and postseason Stony Brook Football games. The radio agreement is the most comprehensive in the history of Stony Brook athletics, marking the first time that all football will air live on a commercial radio station. In addition to the large radio broadcast coverage area, Connoisseur Media Long Island also provides live streaming on all station websites, including 943TheShark.com, so fans around the world can listen via computer or mobile device. The broadcast stream is also live on StonyBrookAthletics.com. Broadcast veteran Josh Caray and former NFL star Erik Coleman will provide the call of every down during the season, while long-time Stony Brook radio personality Curt Hylton will provide pregame, halftime and postgame content.
